Their motto is embossed in gold along the left hand side of the notebook, and the below paragraph, elaborating on the company's design concept, is printed on the notebook's yellow belly band packaging.
"The link between stationery and people began when people first used a stick to draw on the ground. That link, time and again, has continued to evolve along with the evolution of people. However, its intended purpose has never changed, and continued to exist today. We are now rethinking this evolution. Eliminating unnecessary ornamentation and function, we are taking a new look at what's really necessary, rediscovering essential elements and aiming to finally arrive at what should have existed all along. What should have been, is."
The Editor's Series notebooks have a minimal design. The notebook has a plain flexible cover with gold detailing on the left side, by the spine of the book. Inside, the pages contain a light grey 4mm grid pattern and the paper is smooth and thin for a pleasurable writing experience and a slim lightweight notebook. With 368 pages, the 365 Days book is designed for you to use one page a day to write/draw/create in for one year. We love this notebook because it can be easily used as both a notebook for writing, sketching and note-taking and as a planner for recording appointments and to-do's.
